En los 80, este transporte se dej\u00f3 de usar, pero dej\u00f3 en la ciudad ciertas huellas que quedan patentes en la actualidad. Uno de ellas es el Cable Ingl\u00e9s, construido a finales del siglo XIX, y actualmente en restauraci\u00f3n por parte de la Junta de Andaluc\u00eda. Esta infraestructura ferroviaria permit\u00eda la carga de los barcos con el hierro que se obten\u00eda en las minas y se desplazaba por ferrocarril hasta este punto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p cruce de la Avd de Cago de Gata con el Cable Ingl\u00e9s, mediante la construcci\u00f3n de una rotonda, que dejar\u00e1 al hist\u00f3rico cable ingl\u00e9s en medio:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure ingl\u00e9s hay que indicar que existi\u00f3 durante a\u00f1os un ramal de acceso ferroviario al puerto.
