{"id":5217,"date":"2020-11-28T10:56:37","date_gmt":"2020-11-28T10:56:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.geotren.es\/blog\/?p=5217"},"modified":"2026-04-10T16:43:56","modified_gmt":"2026-04-10T15:43:56","slug":"duracion-de-los-trenes-de-alta-velocidad-en-el-mundo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.geotren.es\/blog\/duracion-de-los-trenes-de-alta-velocidad-en-el-mundo\/","title":{"rendered":"Vida \u00fatil de los trenes de alta velocidad en el mundo"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><br><strong>(\u00daltima actualizaci\u00f3n: 20\/03\/2026)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los trenes cada vez se quedan obsoletos antes debido a la falta de repuestos, mala accesibilidad, excesivo consumo (o incumplimiento de emisiones en los di\u00e9sel), unos costes operativos mucho m\u00e1s altos o simple econom\u00eda de escala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No recuerdo ahora mismo en qu\u00e9 pa\u00eds europeo de primer nivel (fue noticia en 2020) se estaban planteando retirar alguna serie porque no hab\u00eda espacio f\u00edsico para instalar los equipos ETCS para el ERTMS, que ser\u00e1 obligatorio en diferentes fechas de esta d\u00e9cada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Veamos qu\u00e9 ha pasado en los primeros pa\u00edses con alta velocidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jap\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>primera serie 0<\/strong> entr\u00f3 en servicio en 1964\/66 hasta 1999. Los trenes apartados del servicio que he observado han sido: hasta 2012 (6), 2013 (14), 2014 (31), 2015 (12), 2016 (5), 2017 (2), 2018 (13) y 2019 (18). En 1995 lo hicieron los 7 trenes <em>North of London sets<\/em> (NOL, 3300 o class 373.3) de 14 remolques; ambos segregables en dos semitrenes seg\u00fan la normativa inicial del Eurot\u00fanel.<br>Estos \u00faltimos hicieron Par\u00eds-Glasgow, Manchester y Leeds hasta el 2000. 4 fueron alquilados a GNER para Londres-Leeds (<em>The White Rose<\/em>, hasta 12\/2005) y 3 quedaron para pruebas de Network Rail entre Londres y Fawkham Junction hasta 2006. Uno qued\u00f3 para piezas y 6 fueron alquilados a SNCF para Par\u00eds-Norte hasta 12\/2014 cuando fueron dados de baja (19 a\u00f1os).<br>Los primeros 31 trenes (11 serie 3000 de Eurostar, 4 serie 3100 de SNCB y 16 serie 3200 de SNCF) tampoco parece que vayan a ser utilizados mucho m\u00e1s, excepto los 8 que fueron renovados interiormente en 2020 aprovechando la pandemia y su relevo por los 17 Velaro e320 (class 374; estos no son segregables y tienen g\u00e1libo GC continental), <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/EurostarJustinp\/status\/1495033418656239616\">volviendo al servicio en 02\/2022<\/a>. As\u00ed, en 05\/2022 quedaban 3 serie 3000 (EUKL, bajas desde 2015), 1 serie 3100 (bajas en 2017), y 4 serie 3200 (los 3 que hac\u00edan Par\u00eds-Lille fueron desguazados en 2014 (un m\u00ednimo de 20 a\u00f1os). Si fuese en 2030 ser\u00edan 37 a\u00f1os para los primeros y 32\/34 a\u00f1os para los exThalys (imagino que ser\u00e1n reemplazados m\u00e1s tarde).<br>Hasta 10\/2024 se hab\u00edan retirado 30 de los 82 fabricados (contando los Alstom [que tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n en la lista de TGV] y los Siemens) desde 1994 (el 37%).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Otros<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En Estados Unidos los <strong><em>Acela<\/em> <\/strong>(2000) iban a ser dados de baja en 2022 al ser sustituidos por los <em><a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Avelia_Liberty\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Avelia_Liberty\">Avelia Liberty<\/a><\/em>, tambi\u00e9n de Alstom. Pese a que su velocidad media es bastante reducida para TAV (103\/114 km\/h) han tenido bastantes problemas con la basculaci\u00f3n y los frenos. La holandesa NS pidi\u00f3 16 trenes V250 de AnsaldoBreda con el nombre de <em>Albatros <\/em>para el servicio Fyra entre \u00c1msterdam y Bruselas, mientras que la belga SNCB pidi\u00f3 3. Despu\u00e9s de muchos problemas de todo tipo (entregas muy retrasadas, aver\u00edas varias, grietas, p\u00e9rdidas de l\u00edquidos, ETCS, homologaci\u00f3n\u2026) el servicio comenz\u00f3 de forma parcial el 29\/07\/2012; y entre \u00c1msterdam y Bruselas por la HSL Zuid el 09\/12\/2012 hasta su interrupci\u00f3n el 17\/01\/2013 (38 d\u00edas) por problemas de fiabilidad y, sobre todo, de seguridad: una tira met\u00e1lica del techo se dobl\u00f3 hacia la catenaria, hab\u00eda \u00f3xido en algunos bogies, corrosi\u00f3n por corrientes par\u00e1sitas&#8230; Despu\u00e9s de resolver los contratos (AnsaldoBreda pag\u00f3 -que yo sepa- 128 M de indemnizaciones, y devolvi\u00f3 a NS hasta 21 M por tren vendido pese a que costaron 23,67 M \u20ac cada uno) y devolver los trenes fabricados (SNCB no recibi\u00f3 ninguno y NS solo 9), AnsaldoBreda ha conseguido vender los 17 terminados (8 de ellos sin estrenar, los contratados fueron 19) a Trenitalia como ETR 700 para hacer <em>Frecciargento <\/em>(250 km\/h) desde 2019 entre Tur\u00edn-Venecia y el Adri\u00e1tico.
